Okcto began with experiments in lo-fi, neo-soul, and techno, carrying the retro energy of the cartoons that shaped an earlier era. The sound has grown into dark, melodic electronic music: cinematic textures, rolling rhythms, and a sense of moving forward.
For Okcto’s creator, who has ADHD, music is also a way to focus. To zone into the work, while zoning out the outside noise and distractions. These tracks come from that same impulse: a place to settle in, get lost, and keep going.
